Due to their unique style of metal, which is composed of significant high-grade technique and explicit melody-parts, the band reached the top of popularity within the scene rapidly. DECAPITATED could pave their way to the first-class-acts of Poland’s extreme metal community, standing side by side with Vader and Behemoth. Despite of harsh calamities – the death of drummer Vitek during an accident with the tourbus has left deep scars in the history of the band – DECAPITATED formed up in 2009 again to continue a new chapter.
